Maintenance Journeyman Role
This multi-craft position requires mechanical, maintenance, carpenter, plumbing, welding, and electrical skills to perform all electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs and maintenance to equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, erect, dismantle and assemble all types of plant machinery and electrical or electronic equipment and component parts.
- Inspect glass forming machines and miscellaneous factory operating machines, related parts and components.
- Weld, braze, scrape, solder and cut various types of metals necessary for maintenance repairs and fabrication of new components and equipment.
Requirements:
- Experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting various types of industrial machinery.
- Journeyman card required (Maintenance, Electrical or HVAC is preferred).
- Must have maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
- PLC programming and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Basic PC literacy (Word, basic data entry).
- Must be able to work a rotating shift, which includes weekends and holidays.
