Job Description
The Operations Analyst role is responsible for performing standardized or routine professional accounting and financial analysis work for America’s North Operations. The primary job duties include the compilation, consolidation & analysis of financial data related to operations. Incumbent must have an understanding of accounting and accounting principles, working knowledge of recording, examining, and analyzing data and financial transactions.
Scope: Familiarity and involvement with all aspects of financial reporting.
Impact: Accurate financial reporting, compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley internal control documentation, and support & drive cost efficient efforts within America’s North operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, & annual reporting requirements as instructed by division
- Participate in month end and year end closing and ensure an effective and efficient system of internal controls in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Drive process improvements in analytics and procedures related to manufacturing facilities
- High degree of interactions with cross functional departments including finance, manufacturing, supply chain, purchasing, and HR
- Complete financial analysis to identify issues, report on performance and drive continuous improvement
- Provide timely and insightful analytics to America’s North Operations team that anticipates change and drives decision making, leverage understanding of key business fundamentals to improve operating efficiencies and profitability
- Assist in the analysis and preparation of financial models, including business cases, forecasts, and budgets, within NA Operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of desktop financial systems; i.e. Microsoft Office, etc.
- Strong knowledge and capability of modeling under desktop financial systems
- Three or more years of related experience minimum (at least 5-7 years preferred); previous plant experience strongly desired

Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $90,000 annually. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
