Security/Janitorial - Part Time

Job purpose

Maintain general cleanliness and general security of the facility.

Duties and responsibilities

Janitorial

• Clean tables in breakroom and production office.
• Mopping floors: Breakroom, Production office, Locker room, bathrooms, at times, the safety walkway.
• Collecting and throwing away trash from all trash bins in breakroom, production office, bathrooms, locker rooms, etc. Main office (Tues & Thurs)
• Follow safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Security

• On an hourly basis, must walk the production floor and outside the building to ensure facility is secured.
• Utilities Meter Reading.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to work Nightshift from 11P-7A.
• Must be able to work any scheduled shift. (days, pm, and overnight).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Working conditions

• Occasional lifting, walking, traveling up and down stairs, standing, sitting, squatting and bending in various positions.
• Daily exposed to noise, dust, fumes, and odors. Physical exertion is required.
• Hard hat, ear plugs, and high visibility clothing is required when walking the premises.

Physical requirements

• Lift minimum of 50 pounds.
• Bend and climb.
• Able to see and hear.
