The salary range in CA for this role is $75,000 - $100,000 and represents the firm’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. - Working as part of the BD team on pitches and proposals, including formal Request for Proposals (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs).
- Supporting the senior staff writer in coordinating large-scale proposals, including creating the appropriate template and collecting required content from various firm departments.
- Supporting the BD team in drafting, editing, storing, and updating pitch and proposal content (e.g., practice and industry descriptions, representative experience, and standard response language used in RFPs).
- Working efficiently to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple pitches and proposals simultaneously.
- Assisting in the management and operation of the firm’s proposal generator and other knowledge management systems (e.g., PitchPerfect, NetDocuments, Intapp DealCloud). Qualifications:
- At least three years’ experience working in a professional environment.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive copy for a professional audience.
- Adept at succinctly summarizing complex issues or ideas.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Comfortable seeking, receiving, and incorporating feedback.
- Experience operating knowledge management systems.
- Familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Persuit, Ariba, Workday, or other procurement software a plus but not required.
- Keen attention to detail (previous experience with proofing and editing copy preferred).
- An interest in legal services and business development.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
