This position will report to the Director of Operations located in the New York office and will be responsible for overseeing the Firm’s Global Travel program. This includes managing the Firm’s Travel Assistant, external travel vendor, and preferred travel service partners; developing and ensuring compliance of Firm travel policies; and providing support to attorneys and business professionals traveling worldwide. This is a strategic position that requires deep expertise in corporate travel management, risk mitigation, and cost control, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee the firm’s global travel program—manage mid-market budgets, policies, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and seamless travel experiences.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain standardized global travel management policies, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Implement and enforce the Firm’s Global Travel Policy—drive compliance through effective communication, training, and an up-to-date travel website.
- Negotiate and manage preferred provider agreements for air, hotel, train, and car rental partnerships by leveraging firmwide travel and group spend for maximum cost savings.
- Manage the Corporate Credit Card program—work with Finance to oversee card issuance, processing, fraud prevention, and resolution of cardholder delinquencies.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved financial oversight.
- Stay ahead of industry trends by continuously benchmarking best practices and integrating innovative travel management strategies.
- Optimize the use of travel technology tools, including Concur (online booking), while evaluating new solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Plan and execute large scale internal meetings and trial team logistics—managing RFPs, site selection, contract negotiations, registration, accommodations, meeting spaces, vendor coordination, and budget oversight.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, providing data-driven insights to leadership for continuous program improvement.
- Handle additional responsibilities as needed to support the firm’s travel and meeting management initiatives.
- 7 years of travel management experience.
- Industry accreditation such as Corporate Travel Expert (CTE) or Global Travel Profession (GTP) preferred.
- Understanding of global travel protocols and payment practices.
- Skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Sharepoint.
- Knowledge of leading industry travel and meeting tools, e.g. Concur, Amadeus, Saber, TRX/Hi-Mark, Lenos, etc.
- Successful candidates must be able to work with all levels of personnel—working across various departments, be customer service and detail-oriented, technically savvy, and organized.
- Must respond to time-sensitive emails after-hours and travel and work weekends when needed.
