- Executing welds that combine, fabricate, and restore metallic components.
- Analyzing engineering documents to determine precise welding methods.
- Conducting quality assessments on welds for architectural perfection.
- Strict adherence to safety and procedural standards.
- Material prep and setups of welding devices when required.
- Engage in specialized training opportunities to enhance welding capabilities.
- Maintain dedication to supporting the establishment's safety and quality agendas.
- Tackle additional duties as directed.
Skills & Requirements:
- Proficiency in forklift and crane operations.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and sophisticated tools usage.
- Proficient in conversions between metrics and fractions.
- Consistent delivery of superior work to all customers.
- Capability to manage and run processing machinery.
- Effective English communication skills.
- Attention to quality and detail is paramount.
- Preferably, a holder of a high school diploma or GED.
- Mandatory MIG welding certification.
- Previous exposure to vocational programs is a plus.
Physical Capabilities:
- Able to lift 20-50 lbs categorically across shifts.
- Adaptability to frequent physical alterations—bending, standing, and more.
- Mobility to cover 2-5 miles of distance during shifts.
- Visual requirements of 20/30 corrected vision.
- Dexterity needed for tool and material handling.
- Exposure to workplace environmental changes indoors and outdoors.
Mastery Expectations:
- In-depth knowledge in setting up production welding environments.
