Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair equipment failures in a timely manner- Manage and perform necessary Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs on equipment- Control repair parts expenditures- Manage outside grounds contractor and snow removal (both contractor and internal)- Maintain existing plant facilities (e.g., HVAC units, lights, restrooms, door security, roof)- Make suggestions on the need for new equipment or repairs- Provide leadership, direction, and informal training to other personnel in the maintenance department- Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs- Incorporate shop floor organization in the maintenance department
Required Qualifications- Training in repair of Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic equipment- Background in repair of HVAC, Electrical wiring, and general repair- Experience in repairing controllers on equipment- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Email- Basic math skills- Ability to read schematics
Preferred Qualifications- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role- Familiarity with various types of industrial equipment- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations- Experience in managing contractors and external vendors

Work Environment- Indoor environment with moderate noise levels- Not typically exposed to outdoor weather conditions- Works around machinery and equipment- Collaborates closely with team members and external contractors
