We are seeking to add an Estate Housekeeping Associate to ensure our property remains pristine, inviting, and well-maintained at all times. Reporting to the Estate Director, this role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of indoor and outdoor spaces, performing light maintenance tasks, and assisting with event setup and teardown. While this role is not primarily guest-facing, a professional and pleasant demeanor when interacting with members, visitors, and staff is expected.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of indoor and outdoor guest spaces, including but not limited to:
- Sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming floors; waxing and buffing floors as needed
- Dust and polish surface areas, floors, and fixtures
- Disinfecting surface areas, restrooms, and kitchen
- Address spills and messes promptly
- Utilize cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines
- Empty trash and recycle bins; maintain outdoor trash receptacles
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Leaf blow walkways and pressure washing
- Perform routine upkeep of outdoor furniture, fixtures, hardscapes, patios, and courtyards
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely, keeping track of all cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies
- Provide light maintenance, such as replacing lightbulbs, unclogging drains and toilets, and tightening fixtures
- Report larger maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Assisting with event set up and restoring the space afterwards, including moving furniture
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and ability required. - 1 year of previous experience in janitorial, facility maintenance, or housekeeping roles
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
- Ability to perform light maintenance work, such as replacing bulbs and minor repairs; experience working with hand and power tools
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving furniture as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while taking initiative
- A friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and staff

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift, move, and stack items up to 60 pounds
- Perform some repetitive motion activities
- Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 20 feet
- Ability to grasp, stoop, squat, climb stairs, push, pull, carry, and reach over the shoulder.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work may occur indoors or outdoors in varying temperatures, including extremes of heat, cold, and rain
