O’Neill Healthcare Fairview Park is currently looking for a Director of Nursing to join our team! Successful candidates must be licensed RN in the state of Ohio with at least 2 years of previous long-term care and managerial experience. Excellent leadership and communication skills, high standards for quality of care, and knowledge of long-term care regulations are a must.

- Oversee the nursing services staff, including scheduling and assignments
- Ensure the nursing department functions efficiently and professionally at all times
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Monitor and maintain documentation to comply with all federal and state standards
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Must have an active RN License in State of Ohio
- Must have two years of experience in a geriatric setting
- Two years of supervisory experience in a geriatric setting is strongly preferred.
- Must have familiarity with Point Click Care
- Must have strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must enjoy working with the elderly
- Must be able to project a positive attitude and promote the facility and its staff/residents in a positive manner.
