OPM Healthcare Services Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting nursing professionals in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of elderly clients in care facilities. This position requires a strong commitment to geriatric healthcare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Resident Care:

   - Assist nursing professionals in delivering comprehensive medical care to elderly people.

   - Provide hands-on support for activities of daily living, including personal hygiene or grooming, dressing, toileting, eating and mobility assistance.

   - Monitor and record vital signs and other relevant resident information.

2. Communication and Collaboration:

   - Maintain open and effective communication with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.

   - Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and personalized patient care.

3. Record Keeping:

   - Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records for all clients. 

   - Document patient interventions in a timely manner.

4. Promotion and Education:

   - Encourage and support patients in adopting healthy lifestyle practices.

5. Comfort and Emotional Support:

   - Offer emotional support to elderly patients and their families, promoting a caring and compassionate environment.

   - Foster a sense of comfort and security for patients   undergoing medical treatments or procedures.

Qualifications

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Completion of a recognized Nursing Assistant program. CNA License/ Certification preferred

3. Previous experience in senior healthcare is a plus.

4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

5. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

6. Proficiency in basic computer skills.

7. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.

Salary : $12 - $19
