Your Role:
As the Video Editor and Motion Graphics Designer, you’ll report to the Senior Managing Producer, collaborating closely with our Creative Strategy, Production, Content, and Design teams to create impactful video content. Your primary focus will be editing digital ads for our creative team, balancing direct response techniques that convert with branding elements that represent who we are. You’ll also help conceptualize and create various motion graphic requests. This role is perfect for someone with a proactive attitude, an ad-strategy mindset, and a talent for high-volume, quick-turn video production.
The ideal candidate is passionate not only about health and wellness but also about creating high-performing videos that drive customer engagement. You should bring experience editing a range of videos for all social platforms, as well as having a strong sense of branding and storytelling.
Your Day-to-Day will look like:
Edit videos to maximize CTR and conversions for ads and eCommerce
Using performance data, collaborate with Acquisition and Creative teams to innovate on video editing styles and creative outputs
Partner with creative strategists to identify footage needs and create shot lists for video concepts
Deliver high-impact videos that meet tight deadlines, incorporating performance insights for ongoing growth and optimization.
Responsibilities and Duties
Conceive, craft, and execute dynamic video edits and a mix of short-form video ads for ad campaigns that captivate a social-driven audience as well as more polished brand videos
Collaborate with creative strategists to edit multiple iterations of video concepts
Ensure quality control for all exports, meeting O Positiv’s high standards
Manage deadlines effectively, completing assigned projects on time
Proactively pitch ideas for video iterations or refreshes on existing work
Create videos, custom designs and motion graphics that drive customer conversion
Embrace and adapt to constructive feedback, leveraging performance data to refine videos
Draw inspiration from other brands' direct response ads and incorporate relevant ideas and motion graphics into our content
Handle projects from footage upload to final delivery with efficient turnarounds
Qualifications and Skills
Experience & Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in video editing (must provide links to work)
Proficiency in Adobe CS, especially Premiere Pro and AfterEffects
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Video editing experience catered for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
Understands the “user experience” of both watching an ad and buying a product
Experience in the DTC space (especially wellness and health) is highly preferred
Proficiency with project management tools is a plus

Hours and Compensation
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $70,000- $85,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.

Position will be based out of Santa Monica, Los Angeles - in person (Mon-Thurs in office/Friday remote)
