What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Parts Specialist position at O'Reilly Auto Parts?
Customer Service Parts Specialists contribute to the company’s success by providing O’Reilly store team members, Ozark Jobbers and internet retail customers with automotive product and application assistance. This would include but not limited to, parts look up, providing product interchange and technical information.
Essential Job Functions
Provide excellent Customer Service with accurate and consistent parts lookup and product information via phone calls, live messaging and email platforms.
Utilize internal and external resources for O’Reilly Store and Ozark Jobber Accounts to source parts from.
Read, comprehend and relay specifications, interchanges, application and technical product information back to O’Reilly Stores, Ozark Jobbers and Online Customers.
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by department manager or supervisor as needed.
Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Strong Automotive Knowledge, understanding of automotive systems and/or repair procedures
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong computer navigation and internet skills
Desired
Ability to multitask when given additional job duties
Two years of O'Reilly store or similar retail experience
Counter Sales or Repair experience within the automotive, heavy duty, agriculture, or marine fields
ASE Certification
Bilingual Preferred But Not Required - English/Spanish
