O’Reilly Auto Parts is looking for a Data Analytics Intern who is passionate about uncovering insights from data and using them to drive business decisions. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with SQL, analyzing data from multiple sources, and translating findings into actionable recommendations. If you are detail-oriented, organized, and excited about working with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Interns will be paired with one department for the summer and will be responsible for assisting their team with special projects and daily tasks that will contribute to the success of the company. Along with a mentor, interns will design their Career Development Plan and complete tasks and projects to gain the experience necessary to achieve their career goals.
NOTE: At this time, we are not considering sponsorship/future sponsorship for this particular opportunity. This includes candidates on CPT/OPT. This role also requires on-site participation at our company headquarters. Relocation assistance/Housing assistance is not offered.

What You'll Do
Work with large datasets to validate, extract, clean, and analyze site search data
Use Google Analytics to track key performance metrics and provide insights on business trends
Investigate and interpret data from a business perspective, aligning findings with stakeholder goals
Collaborate with teams across the company to understand their data needs and deliver relevant insights
Create clear and well-documented reports and dashboards to present data findings
Develop strong analytical frameworks to support decision-making processes
Stay organized, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and ensure accuracy in data reporting

Required Skills & Experience
SQL & NoSQL: Proficiency in writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and working with both relational and NoSQL databases
Google Analytics: Experience navigating GA4, interpreting user behavior metrics, and leveraging event-based data for analysis
Strong Analytical & Problem Solving Skills: Ability to deconstruct complex problems, apply data-driven methodologies, and derive actionable insights
Desired
Familiarity with BigQuery
Experience with analytics dashboards/data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI)
Basic Python skills (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
