Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by greeting customers and assisting in finding merchandise.
- Direct customers to parts specialists if they need hard parts.
- Check in, price, and stock merchandise.
- Keep the display floor stocked, full, and clean daily.
- Create display changes according to company guidelines.
- Maintain sufficient quantities of sale merchandise.
- Remove sale material when sales end and restore original pricing.
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
- Work with the manager to complete tasks and maintain store appearance.
Cashier Responsibilities:
- Check out customers purchasing merchandise quickly and efficiently.
- Handle merchandise returns in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Assist customers when the express lane is not being used and the counter is busy.
Requirements:
- Aptitude for dealing with numbers and good communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Prior experience as a cashier or stocker (desired).
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle (desired).
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
