Merchandiser and Cashier Job

We are seeking a skilled Merchandiser and Cashier to join our team at O'Reilly Auto Parts. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers on the sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise, and direct them to parts specialists as needed.
• Check in, price, and put up stock, ensuring that it is displayed in an attractive and well-organized manner.
• Keep the front area stocked and clean, making display changes according to company guidelines and planograms.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
• Work with managers to complete store tasks and maintain high levels of customer service.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Check out customers quickly and efficiently, handling merchandise returns in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers by finishing tickets, taking payments, and answering questions when the express lane is not being used.

Requirements:

• Good aptitude for dealing with numbers and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Previous experience as a cashier and/or stocker is desirable.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle and fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
