What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Administration Specialist position at O'Reilly Auto Parts?
The Sales Administration Specialist will oversee and process requests by assigned pay cycle divisions independently. This position will also collaborate with the Professional Sales Administration Manager and Director of Professional Sales and E-Commerce to provide administrative support to the O’Reilly Field team and Sales Department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Utilize phone and email systems to provide exceptional support and customer service.
Oversee UKG entry for assigned field team members pay cycle divisions.
Process account change requests for Territory Sales Managers (TSM) and coordinate changes to the TSMs assignment pay cycle divisions.
Oversee all field team member status change requests for new hires, intercompany transfers, terminations, base store changes, and pay changes as assigned.
Coordinate and communicate with field leadership, Human Resources and Payroll department on all status change requests, including closure and verification.
Oversee the Regional Field Sales Managers (RFSM) District Changes as assigned.
Work with the Senior Vice Presidents of Sales and Operations to obtain approval on field status change requests.
Coordinate new hire set up of field sales positions.
Assist with mid-year and year-end evaluations, annual bonus payments, and year end awards.
Provide support, train, and assist the field team members.
Provide monthly reporting for sales incentive payouts by division.
Aid with out of territory reviews.
Responsible for motor vehicle records and criminal background check validations in assigned divisions.
Work with the Department Managers and Directors to provide support with projects and correspondence.
Oversee department share drives and reporting for field and department leaders.
Facilitate new store opening processes for professional sales.
Oversee core deferral program.
Process and complete expenses for field team members and the Professional Sales department.
Assist and coordinate the delivery and training of all tablets for field sales team members.
Support and communicate to field team members regarding important announcements using various applications.
All other duties as assigned.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects occurring simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Proficiency in MS Office products with advanced knowledge of Excel
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure while prioritizing customer service
