Compensation Pay Range :
64,000.00 - $82,000.00
The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the required minimum wage for the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses, or premiums based on specific circumstances, such as schedule, facility, season, or particular work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to lead our daily outbound operations within the shipping and loading department of our distribution center.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all facets of the shipping / loading department to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure daily compliance with company policies and procedures in all departmental activities.
- Collaborate with operations and distribution center managers to optimize payroll, budgeting, and productivity.
- Conduct regular evaluations and performance assessments of team members.
- Lead, train, and motivate department staff to maintain high productivity and morale.
- Work alongside managers to set annual goals and tactics for achieving them.
- Partner with human resources and operations management for effective recruitment, hiring, and onboarding practices.
- Assist in compiling the annual capital expenditure list for budgeting considerations.
- Support operations and DC managers in approving department expenditures.
- Maintain and promote safety standards, actively identifying and addressing unsafe practices.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
