Now Hiring: eCommerce Manager
Location: Corporate Office - The Hub, Springfield, MO
Reports to: Director of Marketing & eCommerce
Direct reports: none
Summary: The eCommerce Manager will work in coordination with the Director of Marketing & eCommerce and team to develop, drive, monitor, and implement eCommerce strategies that support and exceed revenue objectives for a set portfolio of hotel properties across multiple brands. This position supports the organization in generating profitable revenue and brand awareness for the portfolio of OHM establishments.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Work with Revenue Managers, GMs, and other Corporate Leaders to develop 360-degree marketing strategies, direction, and plan to meet property sales goals through digital channels via organic and paid marketing for hotels & barn venues.
- Review and assist in the development of the Annual Budgets for hotels/venues.
- Leverage franchisor support in all efforts to streamline the process and ensure efficiency.
- Work directly with Revenue Managers to develop packages, provide technical support, respond, and solve issues related to customer access and availability of hotels’ eBooking channels.
- Take ownership of the Search Engine Optimization process through keyword research and optimizing meta information for set portfolio.
- Coordinate the set portfolio’s SEM/Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns, provide PPC analysis, and campaign set-up including text ads and site links, based on ad groups.
- Manage and coordinate all display & programmatic advertising for set portfolio.
- Audit the Hotel/Venue’s online presence at least once a year within the set portfolio.
- Develop and oversee all aspects of vanity websites for all properties that maintain them.
- Identify and regularly analyze the production of 3rd party advertisement and partnership opportunities such as AAA, billboards, etc.
- Measure and analyze reporting for e-commerce channels and recommend changes and/or testing to increase revenue. Help the eCommerce/Digital Marketing Manager to build and analyze the results of paid campaigns.
- Maintain consistent UNAP across all digital channels for the set portfolio.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, & REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing and eCommerce.
- Associate or Bachelor degree preferred; relevant certifications such as Google Analytics and AMA DMI certification a plus
- eCommerce brand experience with Hilton, Marriott, Choice, and/or IHG preferred.
- Able to work with CMS platforms such as Milestone or Tambourine.
- Familiarity with website platforms such as Squarespace, Wix, and WordPress.
- Experience working in Google Analytics (GA4); Google Search Console
- Knowledge of the operations and experience in web/e-commerce marketing
- Ability to problem-solve and navigate the digital media landscape, including online media vendors, technologies, platforms, and distribution.
- Must be a critical-thinker, innovative and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn.
- Perform other duties as requested by leadership.
