Now Hiring: Floor Staff
Location: Macadoodles - North Springfield, MO
Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve guests responsibly in adherence to company, local, state, and federal regulations, including carding all guests who appear under 40 for alcohol and tobacco sales.
- Assist guests with their purchases, including unloading carts at the counter and helping take purchases to their vehicle.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization by cleaning, dusting, and stocking products, floors, counters, bathrooms, and shelves.
- Ensure the outside appearance of the store is clean and presentable, including sidewalks, parking lot, windows, ice machines, and trash bins.
- Acknowledge guests within 3 feet and ask if they need assistance; if possible, escort guests to the aisle or directly to the product they are looking for.
- When working behind the counter, greet guests as they enter and leave the store and when they approach the register.
- Report to work on time and in uniform as per company policy for scheduled shifts.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Communicate positively with managers, co-workers, guests, and the general public.

- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Education & Experience:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Certification to serve alcohol as required by state and local laws.
Hours:
- Due to the nature of the business, scheduling may vary and include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Light Work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
- Requires significant walking or standing.
- May be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion.
Physical Activity:
- Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, picking/pinching with fingers, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motion.
Environmental Conditions:
- Inside work environment with protection from weather conditions, though not necessarily from temperature changes. The role is considered "inside" if the worker spends approximately 75 percent or more of the time inside.
