Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician / Shuttle Driver
Location: Holiday Inn Little Rock Airport
Schedule: Full-time, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, including weekend availability
Pay: Starting at $14.50/hour
Requirements: Good driving record
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and minor maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, and other related activities using hand tools.
- Replace air-conditioning filters and tend to the furnace, air-conditioner, and boiler to provide heating, cooling, and hot water for guests.
- Drive hotel shuttle as needed.
- Notify management about major repairs or updates required for lighting, heating, and ventilation equipment.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for service in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborate with Executive Housekeeper, Front Office, and Sales teams to ensure seamless coordination of activities and AV needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe pool area.
- Conduct preventative maintenance procedures on hotel equipment.
- Keep records of all equipment maintenance, repair, and inventory of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
- Program phone and H.V.A.C. systems according to hotel requirements.
- Inspect daily utility meter readings and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Maintain the appearance of hotel interiors and exteriors, including painting, staining, and minor repairs to walls, trim, doors, wallpaper, carpet, Formica, sheetrock, and furniture.
- Keep an organized inventory of supplies and maintain superior quality in guest rooms by inspecting equipment and addressing minor issues.
- Report major issues to the Chief Engineer and keep records of completed work.
- Ensure parts and supplies are sufficiently stocked.
- Learn and follow emergency procedures and operate all equipment safely, adhering to lockout procedures.
- Report to work on time, in uniform, and comply with all company policies.

- Perform other related duties as required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Ability to motivate and guide team members to meet OHM and brand standards.
- Able to handle multiple activities simultaneously and propose appropriate solutions to challenges.

Education & Experience:
- Vocational certification and completion of an apprenticeship in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repair preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
- Perform activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, and more.
Visual & Environmental Conditions:
- Close visual acuity is required for activities like analyzing data, viewing a computer, inspecting small parts, and operating machines.
- Ability to operate motor vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Work is subject to environmental conditions both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to moving parts, electrical currents, high heat, chemicals, and potentially tight or confined spaces.
