Now Hiring: Welcome Attendant
Location: BigShots Golf, Springfield, MO
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for greeting and assigning guests to a tee box promptly with a polite, welcoming, and energetic manner in order to provide high quality service in a timely manner.
- Handle all incoming phone calls and direct to the appropriate team member.
- Manage wait lists for tee boxes.
- Responsible for helping guests get a member card and assigned to a tee box.
- Responsible for understanding and communicating, in a friendly and efficient manner, the BigShots Golf experience, information about clubs, and provide quick troubleshooting tactics within the tee boxes.
- Must be accessible on the tee line and/or lobby area for help and continuously being available in the lobby area to escort guests to their tee boxes or seating within the restaurant.
- Assist in ensuring BigShots Golf Rules are followed within the facility for team member and guest safety.
- Responsible for ensuring all tee boxes have every club needed and all holes on the club rack are filled.
- Responsible for replacing broken clubs in the tee boxes. If clubs are broken, follow broken clubs procedure.
- Responsible for assisting and coordinating services that a Guest may need. (i.e; Guest only has cash and they want to extend booking time in their tee box, need lefty or junior clubs, etc.)
- Responsible for seeing that daily assignments are completed in their respective areas, to meet BigShots Golf standards and as communicated in the expectations (ie no trash/debris on the tee line or range, etc.).
- Assist fellow team members and Guests to ensure delivery of the Service Standards without being directed. Be aware of team members and the environment and participate as a member of the team (may include monitoring/maintaining restroom cleanliness, running food, etc)
- Notify supervisor of guest complaints at the time they occur. Rectify, practicing service recovery, any complaints as soon as possible.
- Reports to work for scheduled shift, on time and in uniform in accordance with company policy.
- Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.

- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Skills & Abilities:

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Restaurant or customer experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements of the Position:
- Requires a minimum lifting capacity of 50 pounds. Must be able to bend, and lift items of 40 pounds minimum, over head for storage. Must be able to transport food and cooking utensils with food products, weighing as much as 10 pounds.
Physical Activity of the Position:
- Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, picking/pinching with fingers, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motion.
Environmental Conditions:
- Subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
