Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000
What You'll Do
- Design and execute test plans that align with system requirements to support a smooth and reliable user experience
- Perform QA testing on web and mobile platforms, including functional, integration, regression, performance, accessibility, and post-implementation testing
- Proactively identify, document, and track software defects-partnering with development teams to drive effective solutions and improvements
- Provide actionable feedback on usability, functionality, and overall quality to Product Managers and stakeholders
- Assist in analyzing reported software defects, serving as an escalation resource for support teams
- Monitor, track, and report on testing progress, coverage, and results
- Champion QA best practices while fostering a culture of continual learning and process enhancement
What You'll Have
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a computer science, information technology or related technical field
- In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience will be considered
- 2 years of software quality assurance experience or related product experience
- Quality Assurance Experience
- Possess a foundational understanding of software quality assurance principles, including basic testing methodologies such as functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Proven ability to balance business goals and user needs
- Understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices:
- Error validation
- Boundary conditions
- Performance considerations
- Accessibility evaluations
- Platform validation to ensure ensures that the software works correctly across various device, OS, and browser environments
- Error validation
- Ability to write test cases, execute test plans, and report bugs clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with fast-paced, iterative software development environments
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum development environments.
- Possess a foundational understanding of software quality assurance principles, including basic testing methodologies such as functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail
- Self-motivated and adaptable, able to thrive both independently and in collaborative settings
- Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and diverse teams
