YOUR DAY AS A PARTS MANAGER

The successful candidate will combine in depth automotive parts knowledge with exceptional people skills. Serving technicians and customers is a key to success in this position. As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team, customer relationships, providing parts to technicians and other retail / wholesale businesses.

WOULD YOU BE A GREAT PARTS MANAGER?

To excel in the role, candidate must possess :

• A minimum of 3 years in parts management experience at a franchised dealership.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Great follow-through and a commitment to quality and service.
• Respond to phone calls, provide price quotes, and address customer inquiries efficiently.
• Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with demand.
• Track all incoming and outgoing parts along with keeping obsolescence in line.
• Experience in software. Dealertrack DMS experience is a plus.
• Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable safe driving record
