Are you ready to take your expertise to the next level? OAC Services is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Building Enclosure Specialist to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively on a variety of exciting and challenging projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting leak investigations, performing building assessments, reviewing drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals, as well as providing critical construction observations, litigation support, and building product testing evaluations.

What You Will Do

Perform construction site visits and document observations (85%)

  • Review architectural details and compare to as built conditions
  • Review project specifications for compliance
  • Review RFI and monitor for implementation on construction site
  • Review submittals and document on site materials

Perform building assessment as related to the building envelope (5%)

  • Be familiar with building envelope components
  • Identify critical areas where deficiencies are most prevalent
  • Photographically document findings and observations
  • Prepare written report, summarizing observations and potential recommendations
  • Perform and / or participate in leak investigations (5%)

  • Be familiar with building envelope components

  • Project Administration / Management (5%)

  • Pursuit Set up in CRM software
  • Develop Fee Proposals
  • Contract Negotiation
  • Project Resource Planning in Vantagepoint
  • Review invoicing prior to issuance to client / follow up on outstanding invoice
  • May include other duties, as assigned.

    Requirements :

    Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience required
  • 5 years' experience directly related to the design, testing, and or inspection of building envelopes
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Deltek and other business administration software
  • Proficient with Bluebeam, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other design related software
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of employment
  • Must be able to pass motor vehicle record check and comply with OAC's motor vehicle policy
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • OSHA 10 certificate preferred
  • Professional accreditation or certification preferred. Examples include : PMP, LEED, AIA, PE, RRC, RRO, REWO
  • Experience in project management of multiple, overlapping, and coordinated projects preferred

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000 / year up to $145,000 / year . Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
