What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Worker position at Oak Farm Vineyards?
We are searching for an energetic and enthusiastic person to join our team as a part-time Food Service & Events worker. This position will service our Café Department & Day / Evening events. We are seeking a person who will posse previous restaurant and / or banquet experience with superior customer service skills. The ideal candidate will have a positive and outgoing demeanor. Weekends are mandatory and some holidays are requirements to work this position.

- Provide outstanding customer service to all guest
- Handling & serving of food products to guest
- Bussing & re-setting tables to maintain a clean environment
- Help with set up and breakdown of events (tables, chairs, etc.)
- Assist in dishwashing of all kitchen equipment, utensils and plate ware
- Cultivate long term relationships with customers and club members to keep them coming back
- This position will require day and night shifts depending on the events that will take place during the upcoming weeks
- Perform other duties assigned by the Head Chef
- Having some background and knowledge of the restaurant industry & event services
- Must be highly motivated, independent, yet able to take direction
- Able to memorize the floor plan and the table / seat numbers
- To be in movement for long periods of time working events or food service
- Effectively communicate dish synopsis to the guest
- 1-3 years food & beverage service and / or hospitality experience preferred
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time and you must have a valid driver's license
- Must be 21 years of age to apply to this position.
