Position Summary
Oak Glen Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor, Infection Preventionist to join our team. Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor:
- Proven work experience as a nursing supervisor.

- Current unencumbered PA RN license.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor, Infection Preventionist:
- Responsible for leading and overseeing the infection prevention and control program.
- Oversee infection control education and compliance.
- Collaborates with the nursing and medical teams to ensure that best practices are implemented to reduce the risk of infections and maintain a safe, healthy environment for residents and staff
- Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance workflow, and/or improve the work environment.
- Complete assessments of residents at admission and discharge.
- Supervise nursing staff assigned and allocate duties to LPNs and nursing assistants, as directed.
- Document services rendered to residents for billing purposes.
- Make daily rounds to monitor resident care and status of residents.
- Implement established nursing policies and procedures, educating nursing support staff according to facility guidelines.
- Review charting on a weekly basis for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain a safe working environment, complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
- Respond to need for staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff.
- Track infection control, exposure control, and resident care trends to provide proactive improvement.
- Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
