SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for guest service, relations, and disputes.
- Ensure the safety and security of team members and guests. Manages processes and programs to effectively control and reduce lost time injuries.
- Assure that the required facilities and equipment are available, clean, and functioning properly.
- Knowledgeable of marketing promotions and events.
- Monitor, direct, supervise, and observe gaming action in the overall gaming operation for adherence to company policies and various regulatory requirements.
- Submit at the end of respective shifts all reports deemed necessary for the efficient operation of the department.
- Witness gaming jackpots.
- May conduct fund exchanges for guests during an emergency situation or as deemed necessary by management.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of Gaming Laws/Regulations and internal controls applicable to areas of responsibility.
- Safeguard gaming assets.
- Make repairs to the gaming machines.
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
- Leadership abilities demonstrated in leading the gaming shift properly.
- Maintaining positive and productive relationships among all team members and guests.
- Adherence to state gaming regulations.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the gaming shift.
- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1 year of customer service experience in the gaming industry is preferred.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
