What are the responsibilities and job description for the Room Attendant - Part Time position at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming & Hotel?
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Thoroughly clean hotel rooms and bathrooms according to department procedures.
- Sort, count, fold and/or carry linens for making guest beds.
- Stock housekeeping carts with supplies.
- Replenish supplies in hotel room and bathroom per hotel procedures.
- Dust furniture, wash walls, ceiling and woodwork, wash windows and sills, door panels.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to waste disposal area.
- Report any problems immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor or Guest Relations Manager.
- Ensure any lost and found items are turned in to be logged.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Interact with guests on occasion while cleaning guest room.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Maintain interpersonal working relationships among all Team Members and the public.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the position

- Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred. Must be able to multi-task and take direction.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
