While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to work in a physically demanding environment both in the heat and cold and have knowledge of various maintenance equipment and tools required for job (rake, pitch fork, shovel, skid loaders, tractor etc.) stand; walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee may also be required to lift, push, and pull up to 75lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Responsible for cleaning and maintaining barn stalls.
- Responsible for Grounds upkeep including but not limited to general landscaping (grass cutting, weed eating)
- Responsible for guest service, relations to assure that our guests have a favorable experience.
- Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and guests. Facilitates, processes and programs to effectively control and reduce loss time injuries.
- Report maintenance that needs to be done to physical structures (for example, stalls, stall doors, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned.
- Maintaining a professional working relationship among all personnel.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the department.
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior experience is preferred.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license
