Job Description:
- Possess strong proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language
- Demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions when required
- Follow instructions diligently to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Exhibit tact and diplomacy when interacting with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public
- Maintain the use of supplies, equipment, and the appearance of housekeeping areas within the facility
- Foster positive and amicable relationships with other personnel
- Adhere to written and oral instructions regarding the use of cleaning compounds, liquids, and cleaning procedures
- Effectively communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel during emergency situations
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility is preferred, but not required
