Requirements :
- Driving the bus to transport passengers over specified routes to local or distant points according to time schedule.
- Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
- Complies with local traffic regulations, and reports delays or accidents.
- Operate a bus safely and efficiently on assigned routes and schedules.
- Inspect bus and check gas, oil and water before departure.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition.
- Comply with all traffic regulations and company policies while driving.
- Transport pupils between pickup points and school.
- May drive diesel or electric powered transit bus to transport passengers over established city route.
- Respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations, following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of passenger numbers, mileage, and any incidents.
- Report any mechanical issues or incidents to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Keep the bus interior clean and presentable for passengers.
