We are searching for an energetic and upbeat individual to join our team as a Mechanic.
The Mobile Mechanic position is based out of a Corporate Shop location but will be called upon to travel to other locations to perform services and repairs on Oak Harbor equipment. They help maintain a fleet of various pieces of equipment including diesel trucks, semi-trailers, converter dollies and forklifts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ability to complete preventative maintenance inspections.
Completing PM’s and repairs to OHFL quality standards.
Must be able to perform wider variety of overall mechanical tasks with minimal or no supervision.
Must have ability to perform preventative maintenance repairs, including heavy equipment.
Perform work and maintain work area in accordance with OHFL and DOT standards for safety.
Assumes and performs other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein as requested.
Ability to review and prioritize repairs needed.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have a reasonably clean driving record.
Knowledge of Class 7 and 8 diesel truck and trailer repairs preferred, but not required.
Self-motivation and organizational skills preferred.
Reading, Mathematics, and simple arithmetic, writing, weighing, and/or measuring.
Must have sufficient tools to perform required job duties, if not provided by OHFL.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and in a team environment.
Ability and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends.
Trade school experience and training preferred, but not required.
Ability to work and complete tasks without oversight and direction from management.
H.S. diploma or GED/equivalent preferred.
Basic English language proficiency (reading, writing and verbal) is required.
