Job Summary
The supervisor’s primary job function is to provide direct supervision to departments and staff as assigned. The supervisor is responsible for all daily operations related to the clinical support staff duties and is responsible for assisting with the hiring, and maintaining staff who strive for excellence, and maximizing productivity. The supervisor will demonstrate competency in providing patient care, evaluating initial and annual staff competencies, directing and coordinating care with the Director of Nursing. The supervisor will be expected to fulfill duties on the floors as needed. This position will also help with cleaning, medical filing, scheduling of staff and scheduling resident transportation as needed.
Duties
- Provides immediate feedback to staff related to observations.
- Plans, delegates & organizes work assignments with staff.
- Engages with staff, providing ongoing feedback into performance.
- Assist clients with mobility and heavy lifting as needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure health stability.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Administer CPR and first aid when necessary, following emergency protocols.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs.
Requirements
- Effective leadership skills and the ability to build a strong team.
- STNA certification is required with management experience preferred.
- Must be able to provide feedback to workers and communicate effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
- Certification in CPR is highly desirable or willing to get.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing excellent care.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by the position.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
