AP/AR Specialist
Oak Hill Contractors, LLC, is a family-owned dirt excavating business in Southern Illinois. We specialize in land reclamation, clearing, revegetation, drain projects, and brush mowing. We contract with local mines, landfills, quarries, and other entities.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Oak Hill Contractors is seeking an AP/AR Specialist to process daily accounts payable and receivable and perform other office tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Processing accounts payable
· Processing accounts received
· Reconciling bank accounts
· Process invoices accurately and correctly with proper coding promptly
· Reviews and analyzes monthly expenses
· Record all cash transactions
· Record and review all credit card purchases
· Performs and completes month-end journal entries
· Monitors closely the A/P aging, ensuring aged payables are resolved and proper review and reconciliation processes are in place
· Process urgent A/P checks, ACH, and wire requests
· Other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
· Quickbooks
· Microsoft Excel
· Excellent communication and multitasking
· 5 years of accounts payable
· 5 years of accounts receivable
· Strong attention to detail
NO REMOTE WORK
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
