Assistant Tennis Coach

• The Oak Hill School Athletic Department is seeking an Assistant Tennis Coach for our 5th and 6th Grade Tennis Program. We want a responsible individual that has a commitment to the whole child while teaching them the skills needed in tennis. This person needs to have a desire to work with children, excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, and can be a collaborative team player while assisting the head coach with this team. The person should have a positive, upbeat coaching style. The coach will assist the athletic director and head coach with managing uniform/ team equipment and collaborate with the head coach on practice drills and tennis techniques. Must stay current in all required sport specific and school mandated certifications (NFHS Concussion, NFHS Sudden Cardiac, and CPR/AED/First Aid) Also, there may be required events, games, and competitions that are necessary for all coaches to attend with the students. A college degree and 2 years experience in tennis is preferred. After- school availability would start at 4 pm for practices and games from October-November. There may also be other responsibilities as assigned.
