Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our Oak Hills team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience at our establishment. Pay will be based off experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events or busy periods.
- Assist in setting up for special events such as banquets or private parties.
Requirements
- Liquor license with training certificate
- Proven experience in bartending or related roles within food service or nightlife environments.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes, brewing techniques, and fine dining service standards is preferred.
- Familiarity with retail math for managing tabs and processing payments effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Certification in food safety or responsible beverage service is a plus.
