What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Director - Skilled Nursing Facility position at Oak Hollow?
The Maintenance Director is responsible for the Physical Plant and Life Safety Management of the facility. In addition, is responsible for the supervision and management of the housekeeping, laundry, and management teams.
- Provides orientation/training, and retains a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out the responsibilities of the facility's housekeeping and laundry departments. Ensures employee performance meets or exceeds expectations and periodic performance appraisals are conducted on a timely basis.
- Maintains a cleaning protocol and schedule that addresses all areas of the facility and maintains resident satisfaction.
- Gives daily assignments to housekeeping and laundry staffs.
- Maintains linen inventory at adequate levels.
- Responsible and accountable for maintaining physical plant and essential mechanical, electrical, and resident care equipment in safe operating condition.
- Develops and administers facility procedures to ensure that personal laundry is returned to the correct owner without damage from the laundry process.
- Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations with Life Safety Data.
- Responsible for ensuring company policies and procedures regarding preventative maintenance are followed.

Experience:
- Long Term/Skilled Nursing Facility Maintenance: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License and clean driving record (Required)
