SUMMARY
Purpose:
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for managing the monthly schedule, PTO request forms and on call for filling in sick time or vacation requests, and interviewing and hiring qualified applicants.

Clinical Oversight
1. Scheduling/Coverage:
The Staffing Coordinator oversees the scheduling for the caregivers and med-techs. It is the Staffing Coordinator’s responsibility to ensure that each shift has adequate coverage, and is able to assist on the floor as needed to make sure residents needs are being met. The Staffing Coordinator will have the next months schedule posted no later than the 25th of each month.
2. Compliance with Rules and Regulations:
The Staffing Coordinator will support the Resident Care Coordinator in maintaining compliance with all local, state, federal and licensing rules and regulations associated with the licensure of the building as they pertain to clinical and risk management activities. This includes HIPAA, OHSA, and State Survey issues, etc that apply to the specific location of the property
3. Team Effectiveness:
The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for fostering teamwork with co-workers, showing initiative in overcoming obstacles, takes actions to assist others beyond job responsibilities, and has a positive impact on co-workers, residents and visitors.

EDUCATION & LICENSING
Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE
Required:
Must have proven management experience and the ability to manage staff.
Preferred:
Minimum two years' experience in Assisted Living, Alzheimer’s/Memory Loss care and/or Residential Care.

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
