This position will be supporting the Wausau/Rhinelander areas


Leadership and Supervision
• Oversee and manage the clinical performance of Advanced Practice Providers specializing in:
     o Internal Medicine
     o Psychiatric Mental Health
     o Wound Care
     o Palliative Care
     o Telemedicine
     o Offsite Teams (including after-hours call services).
     o Future Program Development
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development tailored to each specialty.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration among specialties to enhance care delivery.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment across all clinical teams.


Territory and Facility Management
• Manage the clinical needs of the assigned territory, ensuring adequate provider coverage across
  all facility partners.
• Coordinate appropriate provider assignments and cross-coverage to meet facility and patient care
   needs.
• Onboard new facilities, including establishing clinical workflows, provider orientation, and
   relationship building with facility leadership to ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide patient care coverage, as needed, to support the clinical team and maintain continuity of
  care.
Clinical Operations Management
• Ensure the delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered care in all facilities and service lines.
• Develop and implement clinical protocols, guidelines, and best practices for each specialty.
• Monitor clinical and operational metrics and outcomes to identify areas for improvement, such as
   patient re-admission, risk scores, quality metrics, documentation and provider productivity, etc.
• Provide adequate training and ongoing support to the clinical team to ensure competency and
   confidence in their roles.

• Work cooperatively with other Clinical Directors to address clinical needs across the
   organization’s portfolio and ensure operational efficiency.


Quality Assurance and Compliance
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including documentation
   standards.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives specific to each clinical specialty to enhance patient
   outcomes.
• Oversee incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical audits and inspections.


Collaboration and Communication
• Act as a liaison between the clinical team, facility partners, and organizational leadership.
• Work collaboratively with the CMO, CIO, Physicians and Leadership to guide and advance
   clinical programs and provider development.
• Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Education to address training needs and onboarding
   programs specific to each specialty.
• Partner with Leadership and Human Resources on recruitment, retention, and workforce
   planning for all specialties.
• Represent the organization in meetings with facility leadership and external stakeholders.


Strategic Planning
• Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational goals and strategies for all
   service lines.
• Identify opportunities to expand clinical services and improve operational efficiencies.
• Monitor trends in healthcare delivery and make recommendations for service line
   enhancements.
• Adopt and leverage newest technology and educate providers for efficiencies and best practice.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing, Physician Assistant Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in post-acute, senior living, or specialty hospital
   settings.
• At least 3 years of leadership or management experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience overseeing multiple specialties is highly preferred.


Skills and Competencies
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams across various specialties.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, clinical operations, and quality improvement
   processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
Additional Requirements
• Willingness to travel to facilities as needed.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical software systems.
• Commitment to the organization’s mission, vision, and values.


LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
• Active and unrestricted licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or
Physician Assistant).
