Posted: March 26, 2025 Closed: April 16, 2025 Employment Opportunity: Oak Middle School POSITION: Moderate Special Education Teacher/Structured Reading Certification Begins with the 2025-2026 school year Shrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Moderate Special Education Teacher with certification in Wilson or Orton-Gillingham or both. This position is ideal for someone who can assess what reading interventions are needed and then provide the services. We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom and have experience working in various models of special education (inclusion, co-taught, substantially separate). Candidates with diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, class, and/or gender background and experiences are encouraged to apply. The Oak Middle School community serves students in grades seven and eight. Oak Middle School has a 1:1 iPad program for all students and uses Schoology as a learning management system. The enrollment is generally 940 students in grades 7-8.
