What are the responsibilities and job description for the Golf Course Maintenance Worker position at Oak Mountain Golf Course?
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain all golf course areas:
- Greens (mow, change pins, blow as needed)
- Approaches (mow)
- Fairways (mow, fill divots)
- Tees (mow, change tee markers, fill divots)
- Bunkers (rake, edge, replenish sand, weed eat bunker faces)
- Rough
- Woods and wood-lines (mulch branches, spray as directed)
- Bridges (weed eat, repair as needed)
- Lakes
- Creeks/Lakes
- Cart Path (edge)
- Club House grounds (mow, prune, blow, weed eat)
- Parking lots
- Empty course trash receptacles
- Operate small equipment:
- Blowers
- Weed Eaters
- Back pack blowers
- Hedge trimmers
- Chain Saws
- Pole Saws
- Edgers
- Operate utility carts (Gators)
- Maintain all equipment as necessary (re-fuel, daily clean, report issues to Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Mechanic)
- Other duties and projects as required and assigned
Position Qualifications:
- Prior experience not required, any/all training will be provided
- Physically able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to execute all position requirements in all types of weather conditions
- Possess current and valid driver’s license
