What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher- The Treehouse ELC position at Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church?
The Treehouse ELC is a Christ-centered, academically rich, developmentally appropriate preschool program in the heart of the Oak Mountain area. We are looking to hire classroom teachers for the 25-26 school year. This person will work with a co-teacher as well as a team of teachers for the age group. Our curriculum is a mixture of Zoo Phonics, Saxon Phonics, Handwriting without tears, Saxon Math, and Bible. Our teachers are required to be here from 8:15-1:15, but additional hours are required to complete the work load. All positions are part time, therefore the staff can not work over 29 hours weekly. Teachers are assigned weekly shifts covering early care (7:40am) and extended care (2:40PM). Applicants must be available during those hours on their work days.
Applicants should possess a strong work ethic, be dependable, be able to work as a team member, and be flexible to change.
Preschool teaching experience is preferred.

This position is for the 25-26 school year and will start August 4.
Current open positions are MWF and M-F.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.50 - $14.00 per hour
