About This Role
District 97 seeks a dedicated and dynamic part-time Title I Tutor to join our team.
Major Responsibilities:
Provides direct instruction to students identified as eligible for reading and/or math services in individual, small group, and/or full classroom settings.
Communicates regularly with classroom teachers regarding individual student progress.
Uses identified needs to guide the learning process toward student achievement of district’s reading or math content standards.
Conducts student assessments to identify intervention services, to plan instruction, and/or to assist staff members in learning various assessment techniques. Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required.
Qualifications:
Applicable Professional Educator License with endorsements in reading and/or math preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively with others.
Previous experience preferred.
