What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Assistant position at OAK PARK NURSING AND REHAB?
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant and Driver to help us at our beautiful Menasha location. As the Maintenance Assistant you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds, facility, equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations along with our established policies and procedures. This position will work in all areas of our campus. This is a Part Time position.
What you’ll be doing:
- Check fire alarms, drywall repair, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, heating and cooling, and appliance troubleshooting
- Driving residents to appointments
- Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions
- Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes or other regulations
- Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely to determine necessity of repairs or maintenance
