What are the responsibilities and job description for the Activity Assistant position at Oak Park Place?
Oak Park Place has a Full Time opening for an Activity Assistant at our beautiful Wauwatosa community. The hours are 4 days a week from 12pm-7pm and every other weekend 8am-4pm. What you’ll be doing as an Activity Aide:
- Working under the direction of the Activity Director you will help organize, plan, and execute a well balanced activity program
- Organize, lead, and promote interest in recreational activities, such as arts, crafts, and games
- Generate positivity and encourage resident participation
- Work with all departments to ensure resident needs are being met
- Assess the needs and interests of individuals and groups and plan activities accordingly
Do you have?:
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
- Previous experience in an activities role preferred
