Qualifications of Receptionist :
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous Long Term Care Experience preferred
Valid PA ID
Demonstrate knowledge and skills in filing systems, telephone techniques, typing, computer skills, and other correspondence.
Verbal and written English communication skills
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Be present at the front in a respectable manner.
Type confidential letters, memos, reports, forms, and lists as needed.
Greet guests and visitors and direct them appropriately.
Handle incoming phone calls in a professional manner and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail including bulk / mass mailings.
Must adhere to Century’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program.
Attend and participate in educational activities, in-service training, staff meetings and resident activities as needed; assist in orientation and training.
Collect payments.
Print face sheets for admissions and upon request. Disseminate face sheet to chart, physician offices, and Pharmacy as needed.
Maintain an understanding of the forms within the admissions sign-in packet and with the entire admission process.
Practice safe working habits.
Complete other tasks assigned by NHA or Department Head.
