POSITION SUMMARY:
Robertsville Middle School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Head Girls Basketball Coach to lead one of the premier girls basketball programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for the sport, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to positively influence student-athletes both on and off the court.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Success head coaching experience preferred; hoever, outstanding assistant coaches with proven potential will be considered.
- Years of coaching experience preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of the game of basketball.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to relate effectively to students, colleagues, and the community.
- Strong planning, organizational, and administrative skills.
- Ability to lead and develop a comprehensive, competitive basketball program.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, organize, and manage all phases of the girls basketball program.
- Oversee team member selection, practice planning, training, and game preparation.
- Supervise and mentor student-athletes to promote academic and athletic success.
- Coordinate the procurment, inventory, and care of all basketball equipment.
- Commit to afternoon and evening hours as required for practices, games, and team activities.
- Collaborate with school administration and work under the direction of the Principal.
