What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Generalist position at Oak Ridge Schools?
JOB GOAL:
The goal of this position is to maintain grounds and buildings for the safety of all students and faculty.
JOB DUTIES:
- Mowing all district campuses and athletic fields including painting for events
- Playground equipment repair
- Snow removal
- Concrete and asphalt repair or replacement
- Service all mowing equipment
- Tree trimming
- Provides support to the trades when needed
- Moving and setting up furniture
- Roofing repair
- Performs other job related duties as assigned
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Very heavy: Exerts in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly.
