Under the direction of the Radiologist, the Mammography Tech is responsible for the production of consistent, high quality, mammograms. Performs duties and functions of a Radiology Technologist as assigned. This position requires providing care/service to a sub-acutely through non-acutely ill adolescent through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education:
- Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiology Technology
- Current CRT, ARRT Certification
- Current Mammography Certification
- High school graduate or equivalent required
Minimum Experience/Skills:
- 0 to 1 years experience for Technologist I
- 1 to 3 years’ experience preferred for additional modalities
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Licenses/Certificates/Credentials:
- Must be licensed and hold current certification in Radiological Technology by the State of California, Radiological Health Section, Department of Health.
- Must be licensed by American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT)
- Obtain Fluoroscopy permit within two years of employment.
- Current BLS certification
