Oak View Group seeks a reliable Banquet Server Assistant to provide top-notch hospitality services to our guests in a dynamic environment.
Key Accountabilities:
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings and special items.
- Offer speedy and attentive service to banquet guests, ensuring seamless communication with all customers.
- Guarantee food items are served at the correct temperature and immediately upon availability from the kitchen, as ordered by the customer.
- Present all ordered items neatly, without any spills.
- Pre-bus and full bus tables when necessary during peak periods.
- Be flexible and available to work during many peak periods.
- Replenish beverage stations when necessary (ice, juices, glassware, sugar packets, etc).
- Respond rapidly to customer requests and desires.
- Project a professional image and maintain a clean appearance.
- Collaborate effectively with wait staff, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to improve communication and coordination, leading to a memorable dining experience for our patrons.
- Acquire and maintain extensive knowledge of bar offerings to accurately answer patron questions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Desirable: Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Required: A High School Diploma, G.E.D., or relevant food service experience.
- Must acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other mandatory compliance training.
